I am a learner, I love to research, I love that “ah ha” moment, I love to teach. I am not a teacher, not in the traditional sense.
I’ve been through things that I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy such as losing my only sibling at 29 and going through a tumultuous divorce at 35 turning my life completely upside down. I do not want those tragic events to define who I am, however without these experiences, I wouldn’t be forced to look at life differently.
I hate to see anyone struggle through the same things I have struggled. If I can pass along my wisdom to keep others from making the same painful mistakes I’ve made, then I feel like a success.
I am busy, so so busy that life seems to be going too fast. I was getting through each day by the seat of my pants just grabbing unhealthy food, whatever was quick and easy. Sixty pounds later, I found myself facing the “pre-diabetes” speech by my doctor. I knew the formula for health but my excuse was I don’t have time. I just put it off for later.
In 2001 I met the love of my life. In 2010 I opened my own business selling QuickBooks software. We have a blended family of 6 awesome kids. Each finding their own way.
We are teaching our kids how to be independent in a world where their own peers are struggling to make ends meet, unable to find their way.
We are constantly learning about how to improve our marriage, our parenting, our health. This blog is going to be a place to share what we have learned to inspire discussion.

Thank you for the inspiration. You’re one of my biggest supporters and I really appreciate that. Keep writing you are truely making a difference.
