One of the things we did one day was the Hidden Gems Tour.  If you are on a cruise ship, order your tickets directly with the company rather than paying a surcharge.  Do the Eco Tour which is with every penny!

Hidden Gems of Bermuda Ltd.

Wear a bathing suit, with coverup or two and Tevas or water shoes, (don’t bring sneakers they will get muddy/wet)  bring at least one or two dry towels, bring your own mask/snorkel (we used theirs but would rather had my own).

You actually swim two separate times once before and once after lunch.

1) First stop Tom Moores Jungle.  There you will see and explore the jungle.  They bring a naturalist who showed is really cool things.  Then we had optional “cliff diving”, I was chicken and just watched!

2) then we went into the cave to swim. Most people were brave and jumped in but I slipped in the side.

This was a really cool thing to do, interesting information about how water is fed in etc.  don’t want to give it all away.

3) We then went to lunch at Black Horse Tavern where we were fed wahoo bites (very mild fish), and other authentic Bermuda dishes.  I tried and loved Ginger beer.

4) We travelled over to St David Light house where there were wonderful views.

5) then we ended with a snorkel trip at Coopers Island.  Very protected area to safely snorkel.  Beautiful & colorful fish, amazing time!  While we were there I attempted to dry my soaking wet towel.  That’s why I recommended two.  They provide noodles and flippers too.

6) after this we went to get ice cream!  They give you a single scoop, and I highly recommend the dark and stormy.

Then the tour was “over” but what they do is tell you stories the entire time. Literally you go from one end of the island to the other.
