🛏 A Suite Surprise

After exploring Ronda’s dramatic cliffs and historic bullring, we checked into our hotel—and wow. We were blown away. The room was a full suite, with plenty of space to spread out and unwind. No scenic view, but we didn’t mind—it felt like a luxurious little apartment tucked into the heart of Ronda. The only downside? We were only here for one night.

🧉 Rooftop Lounge & Mojito Moments

We headed straight up to the rooftop pool, mojitos in hand. The water was freezing—only Bob dared to jump in—so the rest of us claimed lounge chairs and soaked in the afternoon sun. We sipped, relaxed, and repeated the same phrase over and over: We never want to leave this hotel.

🍷 Happy Hour with a View

Before the evening’s plans, we met our travel crew for happy hour at the bar just below the rooftop, overlooking the legendary Plaza de Toros. Glass walls wrapped around us, the light was golden, and the atmosphere was warm and easy—just the right pause in the day.

🎸 Paco Seco at the Ronda Guitar House

Later, we wandered over to a tucked-away gem: the Ronda Guitar House. The moment we walked in, we were surrounded by instruments—lutes, ouds, mandolins, and drums from all over the world—lining every wall.

We were given a glass of wine and took our seats for a performance titled The Magic and the Mystery of the Spanish Guitar, led by Paco Seco, a world-renowned guitarist who’s toured across Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America. With humor and heart, he walked us through Spanish, Classical, and Flamenco styles—playing three guitars and sharing the story behind each piece. His artistry filled the room.

🍽 Panorámico Perfection

Dinner that night was back at the hotel at Panorámico Restaurant & Wine Bar, perched high above the bullring with sweeping views of Ronda and the mountains beyond.

🌇 Sunset Farewell

Back on the rooftop bar terrace, we watched the final light of day spill across the Plaza de Toros. The golden glow made it hard to believe this was just a one-night stop. Ronda had completely enchanted us in less than 24 hours.
