Our last day kicked off at the final round of the Spartina Warehouse sale—prices were slashed even further, but the inventory was definitely picked over. Still, I had one mission: I wanted to get the same dress Lisa’s wore yesterday. I’d been eyeing it all day, and wouldn’t you know it—there was one left in my size. Twinsies!
Even better, I found the two dresses I’d spotted yesterday at the full-price Spartina shop in Shelter Cove—now 70% off at the warehouse sale. Wowsa. Score x3.

Everyone managed to snag one more deal before heading out, and we even ran into Kim and Carol in the chaos. Oh—and we each got $25 off our purchase. Winning!

Next up: brunch at Ela’s on the Water. We originally chose the patio—until we realized we were basically sitting inside a sauna. A sweet couple from South Dakota celebrating their anniversary tipped us off to a breezy corner around the bend, and wow, what a difference. (They were thrilled to be anywhere without snow.)

After brunch, we made one final stop at Nash Art Gallery, thanks to Suzanne’s recommendation.

And then…it was time for goodbyes.
Beverly and I took our own car, so naturally we made just a couple more stops—Spartina Outlet at Tanger 2 (left empty-handed, shocking), and then Vineyard Vines, where we both found sale dresses. We peeked into Beaufort Belle, but hit a wall. Looked at each other and said, “This is it. We’ve literally shopped until we dropped.”
Now everyone’s home, curled up on sofas, replaying all the laughter, stories, and even a few tears. We endured three major thunderstorms—and yet, not a single black cloud over our fun. It was the perfect reset.
